And if you're coming to Spain, there's a visa. What would be a visa for Spain?

As you know, Spain is a member of the European Union and wants a Schengen visa. If you don't have a green passport, if you have a burgundy passport, you are also required to obtain a Schengen visa. You can learn how to obtain a Schengen visa from our Schengen Visa.

The Spanish painter Francisco Goya is known for its two giant football clubs in the city of Madrid. Atletico Madrid - Real Madrid strife is transforming this smelly city into a sports temple. Football and restaurants are watched; a lot of things about football from the shops are gushing.

Every building in this well-maintained city, when you turn your head, you can see a brand new, space-like building and another building that is 18th century, extremely well-maintained.

Madrid is a city where life flows extremely fast. A full business and study center, a crowded metropolis. One example of the current state of the city that we see throughout Europe is Madrid. I'll tell them all in a row line below.

This was a really nice hotel at a good price. something in between a really good hotel and a "holiday" hotel. It had all the accomodities for a good hotel, although it didnt all work as it should and there werent really a big effort from the staff to rectify those small things. A major drawback was the restaurant in the hotel, a hotel of such standard shouldnt have to settle with such a poor-standard restaurant. And you couldnt get food from restaurant to hotel. But we found the perfect solution, just across the street there was a restaurant called "Danieli" which was really good. So all in all, good value for money and classy hotel for those who wants something more than just a bed. Ideal for business trips and comfortable holidays. regards, Torkild, Norway.

A very nice hotel. Rooms are are large, quiet and very well appointed. Prices are very reasonable and very good value. Location is good. although a bit of a walk to centro ciudad, but not a problem.

A very smart and modern hotel. We had a spacious and well-appointed room. The hotel is to the east of the Retiro Park, but within easy walking distance. The restaurant was only open from 8 to 10 in the evening, but there are several nice restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. 30 seconds walk from O'Donnell metro for journey to/from airport. 20 minutes walk to Gran Via, but 5 minutes on Metro. Close to Park Retiro. Would definitely recommend hotel to others. Cheers!

Hotel Convencion is centrally located in the hear ot one of the most elegant shopping districts in Madrid. The hotel lends itself to the remarkable name it has established throughout the years for the excellent service it provides. The rooms are large and spacious. The valet service is outstanding. The rates for ones stay is moderate. Should I travel to Spain in the future, I certaingly will stay at the Hotel Convencion again. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was excellant value, a typcal conference style hotel set up for large numbers. The loung area was very pleasant however drinks at the bar were more expensive than the local bars. The room was clean and large however we were located near a lift which I had specifically requested to avoid. The location was good with taxis to the furthest tourest site costing arround Ј3.50

This hotel is conveniently situated near metro station and the nice Retiro park in Madrid. I would say that according to western standard it is overrated at 4 stars but I must also say that I payed less for the room than a usual 4 stars hotel. Consider it as a 3 stars hotel and everything will be ok.

Very Big Hotel well located and not very far away metro stations. Rooms are OK and quiet but view is not fantastic. Breakfast is the black point : both quality and service are poor and not at all in line with a 4 stars hotel. Time to be registered is very long because reception desk is too small for a so big hotel.
